Spywares and Viruses are NIGHTMARE man... I just learned an impt lesson today... Please do daily maintainance on ur com... By the time those stuffs strikes, its already too late. Well, I guess this applies to our health too. Prevention is better than cure, I guess you dont have to think to say it out. There is one sad truth though, we often take things for granted. After being exposed to a superb art film by Mr Eddie Koh and an abortion talk by the same guy, I am now more aware and concious about the things around me. Like my Laptop. I didn't bother to run programs to remove spywares and viruses. All I did was to login to Msn to chat and surf the net. Until a few days ago when the evil spywares created havoc in the system, then I realised how I neglected it. Now that I've cured her and typing this entry out, I treasuring her more than ever. =) The film showed us the the cruel reality of families nowadays. People are not upholding family values in this generation. Okay I admit I'm probably 1 of them. Sometimes I just got so fed up and release my anger at them- which is damn bad. Teenagers nowadays are probably valuing friends and peers more than their families. Look at this- we spent like 10-12 hours in sch but only a couple of hours at home. Moreover, if they are working you won't see them. Plus if you go out with your friends and classmates during the weekends. How much time do you spend with your families? Are our parents just suppose to give us our pocket money, sign whatever forms we need them to, buy expensive things etc...? Moreover we throw tantrums at them, howl and scream at them. No wonder couples dont want to have babies. Last time when we were young and need the care and protection of our parents, we stick to them all the time. We would be always going out with them to shopping, movies and outings. Now as full fledged teenagers, we need not them to protect us already. More than often we go out with our friends than our families. Of course, this does not applies to everyone. The truth is we will spend less and less time with our families as we get older. But all how do we maintain the closeness and bonds between each other? I hope you can find an answer to this problem or everyone's. After watching the abortion exhibition then I realised how one should value life. These losses of life are all caused by our rash and reckless actions. Imagine yourself developing into a healthy baby being and suddenly, someone came and rob you of your rights to enter and live in this world. I dunno whether this is right or not. But what I know is that we all have an instict to live, a desire to survive. This will and determination to live can be seen in those disasters, where people miraculously survive in the toughest and most extreme conditions. The fetus may not be a human being yet but it will become one. But do people actually cares? Some of these surgeons and women may just see as a "thing", and something which is on their burden and that they wanted to get rid of. Whatever it is, I just hope one day we wont have to be in this type of stituation. |
