today has been an eventful day for me.... early morning i lazed in bed wondering to go for ncc meeting anotx... but the sleepiness got the better of me.. so i missed the meeting.. :(.. went to school for the hydroponics farm visit... ppl from e2-e5 and n2 all got go... mdm zainab and mr seow tagged along.... the already hot weather was made worst when we had a aircon-less bus... finally we reached the hydroponics farm.. somewhere in nee soon and sembawang... the sun was scorhing and burning... (typical spore weather)... we got a guide to tour the farm... a staff from the farm too... they even provide handouts... impressive... we explored the farm part by part... i was the usual self.. bz taking photos... i simply love photography... there was a moment when andre nearly slipped and fall and mdm zainab was just screaming and holding on me... so funny! other than tat.. the visit was rather an enjoyable one... i've learnt the hydroponics farm teachnique and how our vegatables come by... at the end of the day... we went home with bags of veggies... i've won a italian parsely plant, bought tomatoes and got free veggies... haha eat more veggies! after the trip went to bp plaza for lunch with a few of them... also found out tat andre and kelvin makes a devastating pair... hahax... went home and changed den rushed to JE mrt.. went to safti again but this time with ncc peeps.. including those playful sec 1s and sec 2s... we reached there and they were so eager to do the chin ups... in the end, commando-to-be clt vicknesh nv do siah.... hahax... we went ard exploring the huge place... of cuz nvr go the places i had seen b4... at the entrance we saw two snipers in their suits... they looked two trees standing! u cant even see their faces at all... wahhh tats why they say snipers are the most horrifying 1s... we tried the army buffet... food tat armymen eat... hmm not bad arh...there were lots of exhibition.. more than wad we'd seen... im just relieved tat armymen now has better clothes, better equipments.. aiya everything better lahx... gd for guys.. :)... there was one time jazil breathe in helium from the balloons and he sounded like donald duck! after tat they r just mad abt it... every1 went to try taking in helium.. but i nvr try arh... sounds funny to me.. hahax we went ard taking any freebies we can find... i took a sponge ball, a metal water bottle.. den bought a black army t-shirt and handphone pouch.. came across a golden retriever called jessie.. so cute.. i wish my canine at home was like tat... haha im still wondering why the army would need a dog... sniff bombs? maybe. after tat we took a bus to pasir lebar camp...originally we wanted to try the jump onto a sponge bed but got age limit till 18... den the flying fox was not up on tat time... we wanted to fire the SAR21 and M16 live firing but too many ppl... so we went to ride the armoured vehicles... we rode the broncho... got 2 sections... some go infront and go the back.. the back could hold many ppl but only 4 can stand up... so we took turns to stand up... quite fun.. after the ride... i dropped my cam's memory card on the vehicle but a kind army officer helped me find it... thx! went to fire the gomg after tat... tat is the general purpose machine gun... its a heavy machine gun which can kill dozens 1 time.. i was quite nervous actually.. the firing was loud and the recoil is hard... hahax very fun.. at least i got some first hand experience before my live firing on 20th sep... finally we went back to safti.. went to play the urban warfare... we held the spore created rifle SAR21.. quite cool... nvm.. i'll haf 1 in a few yrs' time.. we got into 2 teams... den we fire at each other den c can get the flags 1st... i was running all over for cover.. fire quite a few shots but dun think i killed someone... in the end.. our team lost... but nvm... its quite fun to play.. =).. the last activity we did there was the napha stations again... i tried the sit ups and did 27 in 30 secs... quite ok lahx.... there was a few commandoes there and they took turns to do the chin ups... there was like 6 of them and they were to 600 when we were leaving... amazing.. their biceps all very big and muscular... we spent close to 5 hrs there.. wahhh so fun but tiring... it was a unforgettable experience...made me love the army even more... u can c the photos i took today in my second photo gallery.... cyax!
